Our Story
What started as an idea birthed on vacation has grown into a quirky (and tasty!) local business in Idaho. With four food trucks, two concession stands inside the Boise State football stadium, and a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Meridian we are living a dream we might never have imagined were it not for a chance encounter with a street vendor operating a small cart in Italy.
We’re Tyler and Marina, founders of Coned Pizza, and we both love to travel. When we’re not working hard making pizza cones and running the business, we’re probably on an airplane.
On a trip to Italy in 2015, we were exploring a street market and happened upon a small cart selling small pizza cones (about the size of our kids’ cones). We tried them and fell in love with the concept.
Making everyone’s favorite food even more fun.
Inspired by the fun, new form of everyone's favorite food, we hired an engineer back in Idaho to design a cone press and re-design ovens from Italy that optimally hold and cook a pizza cone.
Coned Pizza started as a humble food cart in 2016, quickly gaining a following that led to the launch of our first wildly successful food truck. Today, Coned Pizza operates four food trucks and runs concession stands inside Albertsons Stadium, home of the famous blue turf, bringing our signature cones to fans and communities across the Treasure Valley.
